A track rental at Powwow Raceway is not just terrain and a gate code. From the moment you arrive to the moment you load up and leave, there are services available to make your session more productive, more documented, and more supported than anything you would get at a shared facility. Here is a breakdown of everything we offer.
Every rental includes exclusive access to your chosen track — no other groups on the property during your session. The Desert Track receives basic prep before your session. The Rally Track runs raw by design. Both are available from 8AM for half-day or full-day sessions. Up to 3 vehicles are included in every base rental; additional vehicles can be added at a per-vehicle rate.
Desert racing is unpredictable. Vehicles go over, get stuck, or break in ways you did not plan for. Having an on-site recovery crew means the difference between a 15-minute setback and a session-ending problem. Powwow Raceway has recovery crews available to hire for your rental day — experienced teams who know the terrain, know how to move stuck or damaged vehicles without making things worse, and can get you back on track fast. This is not a service you want to skip if you are running hard.
We have access to professional drone operators who specialize in motorsports. These are not hobbyist pilots with consumer gear — they understand speed, angles, and timing in a way that produces cinematic aerial footage rather than shaky overhead video. If you are building content for your team, sponsors, or social media, drone coverage of a private track session at Powwow is some of the most compelling motorsports content you can produce. The terrain, the isolation, and the ability to run without a crowd in frame makes every shot cleaner.
Beyond drone, Powwow has connections to a network of motorsports photographers and content creators who know how to shoot desert racing. Whether you need still photography for sponsor deliverables, video content for YouTube or Instagram, or full production coverage of a testing day, we can help connect you with the right people. Full-day rental sessions run from 8AM to 5PM. That is a long time to be out in the desert without food, especially if you are running a crew of mechanics, co-drivers, or team members. Powwow can coordinate food vendor access for your rental day so your team is not driving 30 minutes to grab lunch and losing half an afternoon. This is especially useful for larger groups and corporate rental days.
Every person on the property during a rental must sign the Powwow Raceway waiver. All vehicles must meet the requirements outlined in the Driver & Media Rule Book. No exceptions. These requirements exist to keep everyone on the property safe and to keep the program running for future renters.
