These rules exist to protect everyone on property and to keep Powwow Raceway open. Tracks get shut down when rules get ignored — it takes the whole off-road community holding these standards together to prevent that. Staff will enforce these requirements without exception.
If you have questions, email powwowraceway@gmail.com before the event — gate staff will not have time to review exemptions or answer rulebook questions on event day.
Whether you're a driver, spectator, or media — read everything that applies to you before you arrive.
All vehicles and occupants must meet the following requirements before entering the active track. No exceptions will be made at the gate.
Full face off-road helmet required for all occupants.
Required Minimum: MRC Stage One Mid Air Pumper or equivalentNot permitted: Motocross, motorcycle, or open face helmets of any kind.
5-point harness, SFI 16.1 certified, required for driver and all passengers.
RequiredPurpose-built racing seat required for driver and all passengers. Must be securely mounted. Accepted seat types: suspension seat or hard shell (composite) seat.
Required Stock OEM seats not permittedNeck collar or HANS device significantly reduces the risk of injury in the event of a rollover or impact.

All safety equipment must be present and functional at the time of driving. No exceptions.
Non-NegotiableVehicle will be inspected at check-in. Failure to meet requirements means no track access and no refund.
Enforced at GateDrivers are responsible for all passengers in their vehicle at all times on property.
No alcohol or substances of any kind before or during track sessions. Zero tolerance.
Zero ToleranceObey all flag signals immediately and without question. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal.
Immediate Compliance RequiredNo aggressive or reckless driving toward other vehicles during events or open track days. Drive with respect.
No burnouts or excessive revving in the staging area or pits. Observe all posted speed limits.

Required at Check-InObserve all speed limits in the pit and staging area at all times.
Follow all instructions from event staff immediately and without argument. Staff decisions are final.
Rules apply to all credentialed media on Powwow Raceway property.
Send a DM to @powwow_raceway on Instagram before the event with your name, publication or channel, and what you plan to cover. Day-of credential requests are accepted at the media check-in table.
Media credential must be purchased in advance or obtained at check-in before accessing any track-side areas.
RequiredHi-vis vest (orange or yellow) required at all times in track-side areas. This is your responsibility to provide.
Your ResponsibilityAttendance at the mandatory media meeting before the track goes hot is required. No exceptions.

No flying over spectator or camping areas. Land immediately on any red flag or instruction from event staff.

You own the content you create. Tag @powwow_raceway in all content posted publicly from our events. To share content, collaborate, or be featured — DM @powwow_raceway on Instagram. Do not send content to personal accounts of individual staff members. Content may not be sold or licensed to competing venues without written approval from Powwow Raceway LLC.
Camping is available for racing events only — not available on open track days. Designated camping, trailer parking, and staging areas are all in the same zone.
All camping, trailers, and RVs must remain in designated areas. No parking in the middle of roads or blocking access routes — these areas must remain clear for fire and emergency vehicle access at all times.
RequiredOpen campfires are strictly prohibited. The property is extremely dry and open — fire risk is high. Propane stoves and enclosed fire pits only. Violations will result in immediate removal from the property.
Open Fires Not Permitted5 mph at all times in camping, staging, and trailer areas. No racing, revving, or aggressive driving in these zones.
5 MPH MaxNo driving under the influence of alcohol or any substance — this applies in camp and on property at all times.
No Drinking & DrivingChildren are the full responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times while on Powwow Raceway property. Powwow Raceway LLC assumes no responsibility for the safety or supervision of minors.
Adult Supervision RequiredLeave no trash, equipment, or personal property behind. Keeping the land clean ensures continued access for everyone. Violations may result in loss of future event access.
Required
